xlauradallas asked: Ah no way, that's disappointing to hear. Doing a conversion into medicine will be very hard work and very competitive (from what I hear, one of my friends at uni wants to do it), but something you should seriously look into. Wouldn't a career in psych interest you? I suppose that's helping people too. Though, again, extremely competitive. I think for me university is what I expected, including all the ups and downs. What course do you do at the moment?

Yeah, I know. I’d need to do more A Levels because I haven’t got the right kinds of subjects at the minute.. though I’d say a degree in Philosophy would help a little. Yeah, it would, but if I’m honest, my life contains enough elements of psych, hahaha. I thought briefly about becoming a mental health nurse when I was younger, but I don’t think I could do it. the therapist I see at the moment is incredible, easily the best I’ve ever had.. but she’s private. I understand her reasons for going private rather than NHS, but I don’t think I could do that- but then if I worked for the NHS I know I would work myself to an early grave. At the minute I do Politics & Philosophy, I started with straight Politics but so far it’s been disappointing and I’ve loved Philosophy so I’m trying to change around my modules next term so I’m doing a joint honours instead..
